Employee of the Month
PENDLE.
Resume:
Last March, Pendle overheard two men in a pub '...but we need a driver who's been on a raid before...' Naturally, Pendle volunteered. 'I've done a few - Poland, Perth, Milton Keynes..' and with his orange Spot loaded high with gas cooker, spare fuel, tyre chains etc. met the two startled men at an agreed time and date as they fled from a High Street Bank in Slough carrying two large bags of stolen cash.
A complete misunderstanding, of course. The brightly-coloured getaway car was easily stopped by two bank clerks holding on to the back bumper and Pendle was sick over one of the robbers.
After completing 40 hours of Community Service, Pendle was interviewed by 'Orange Growers Gazette' and became a minor celebrity in Rajasthan.
Pendle has a great interest in sandwich fillings, and once met the late Oliver Reed. He is also capable of unwinding a 2CV gearbox in a darkened room. Pendle is in charge of security at Bonapart.
Bad luck, Pendle...but congratulations! You're our Employee of the Month!
Editor's note: We apologise for the poor quality of Pendle's photograph. (due to inclement weather at the time it was taken).
